Jah-ShakaOur first month in Lagos, and Gráfica-Link have been commissioned to redevelop the existing logo design for new local Surf Shop, Jah-Shaka. Our final design needed to boost the impact and dynamism of the original design without reducing its recognition or weakening the brand. We accomplished this with the combination of a heavier brushed font plus creative outlining and emphasising of their original icon.

In addition, the Jah-Shaka owner has already planned for us to build the Jah-Shaka.eu website design, due for launch in Spring 2010.

"Siege & Conquest of Silves 1189" Finally, following a few last-minute delays and late-night proofing sessions, "Siege & Conquest of Silves 1189" book is ready to greet its anticipating audience!

Expectations for the quality of the final publication were high, and we're delighted to report that the production team have excelled themselves - the materials and finish really are impressive, and it's a wonderful feeling to have the weighty copy in our hands, rather than just on a computer screen!

Mesquita PressLocal author Jon Wilson launches Mesquita Press to publish his non-fiction book "The Siege & Conquest of Silves 1189". As well as employing our services to manage pre-production and publication of the book, Gráfica-Link have been asked to forward proposals for their logo design and assist with the book launch later in the year.

The MP Team requested a monochrome logo that was elegant and uncluttered, conveying a traditional image. Our final design, a combination of a simple, modern icon with a traditional typeface, satisfies this brief.

AGUK Golf Course Information Launched this month - Courses.Algarve-Golf.co.uk!

This website provides useful information and images of all 35 golf courses located on the Algarve, along with links to discounted green fees and tailor-made Algarve golfing packages.

Os Algarvios - The Algarveans We've printed Programmes, Tickets and other promotional material for the well-known Experimental Theatre group since 2004 - so, when they needed to have their logo 'freshened up', they knew where to come!

OPRA Property Renovation Launched this month - OPRA-pt.com!

This CSS-based layout was designed to be simple and clear.

Built and hosted to a low budget, this website features a number of Flash-based image slideshow galleries, plus a comprehensive list of the services provided.

Algarve Golf (UK) Ltd. AGUK's primary service is the booking of discount green fees and golfing holiday reservations online. They approached us concerned that they could be receiving more traffic to their website. We understood that there is a tremendous amount of competition for golfing websites in the Algarve, but our careful optimisation of Algarve-Golf.co.uk means they now enjoy first page Google rankings for their chosen search terms. Business instantly and dramatically increased, despite the economic climate at this time!

Caldas Manor Launched this month - CaldasManor.com!

Gráfica-Link originally launched this website some time ago, but it's effectively been relaunched this month, following a number of updates and additions.

Most important of these additions is the i-Spy360.com 'Virtual Tour', which provides anyone viewing the website a fully interactive, three-dimensional 360° view of all major rooms in the property, plus external features and local points of interest.

Aldeda Jardins Local gardening business Aldeda Jardins commission us to refresh their logo design, and produce eyecatching business cards and fliers to help promote their services.

Serra de Monchique GC The SdMGC needed a logo design that was simple enough to be reduced for embroidering Club merchandise, but detailed enough to capture the elements distinguishing the landmarks of their home course; Monchique mountains, Silves Castle and the Algarve climate!

Algarvida Homes & ServicesGráfica-Link produced this logo design and various printed publicity materials to provide a fresh new image for the established Carvoeiro-based estate-agent, as they diversified their range of services to include rental property management.

Salão ElysiumGráfica-Link were asked to oversee the pre-production and printing of well-known beauty salon Salão Elysium's price lists. They feature a clever, road-map-style fold to deliver a comprehensive range of information in a format that, when folded, is no larger than a conventional DL envelope.

Conscious Earth Launched this month - Conscious-Earth.com!

Designed to convey the cheerful and friendly atmosphere and approach of its' owners, this website was built and hosted to an ultra-low budget - yet features Flash-based image slideshow galleries.

Conventional static pages display information and prices for all the facilities, entertainment and events on offer at this lively Algarve holiday destination.

Dental Solutions Europe Launched this month - Dental-Solutions-Europe.com!

Logo Design, website design, various printed publicity materials.

AFPOP We were thrilled to be asked to present concepts to design the new logo for the Algarve's foreign residents association, AFPOP. We made sure our final design conveyed their 'helping hand' nature in a simple, memorable, trademark image.

Miller & Schültz Launched this month - Miller-Schultz.com!

Miller & Schültz are importers of fine bedding, providing new products and ideas to offer the relaxation you deserve, with a service that caters to the individual.

Our website design presents a wide range of product information, featuring seasonal updates, product care tips and an online enquiry form.

Quinta da Calma Launched this month - Quinta-da-Calma.com!

Not just a website design project, QdC requested that, once complete, Gráfica-Link train their key staff how to modify and maintain their website so that it remained up-to-date with all the activities and events they organised.

This was our first multi-lingual website, and it has proved to be a great success - Quinta da Calma used their site to reach out to an international audience, and our relationship with them continues to this day!
